This service I would do a Root color at the top, people usually prefer this when they have Grey that they would like to cover up then I would paint on lighter pieces on the bottom of the hair.

Typically done at the shampoo bowl, right after a foil.. this service helps blend the foil lines to match a clients natural hair color/darken it if that’s what they would like, root smudges don’t need to sit on long it’s usually just a little tap & combed out into a toner, helps everything blend.
